As an ENERGY STAR partner since 2003, L’Image Home Products was honoured for selling over 3.4 million ENERGY STAR certified lamps and luminaires that will offset over 2.5 million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalents over the course of their lifetime. 2018 was a year of significant growth and change for L’Image, with several new hires devoted to expanding their ENERGY STAR products business, and for more than quadrupling their ENERGY STAR social media impressions. As a result, L’Image expanded into new energy efficient products and categories with the addition of 17 new ENERGY STAR certified products to the Canadian market. ENERGY STAR is central to L’Image’s identity as a lighting company and at the heart of discussions of efficiency and sustainability internally and externally.

“This ENERGY STAR award is an honour for the entire L’Image Home Products team. After an amazing 15 years of partnership with ENERGY STAR, we view this partnership as one of our strongest and most meaningful. Our team worked extremely hard to promote ENERGY STAR’s message and values while raising the bar on product innovation and inventive promotion techniques. We look forward to developing products that reduce greenhouse gas emissions while providing energy and financial savings to our customers alongside ENERGY STAR for years to come,” said CEO Jerry Zuchowicki of L’Image Home Products.

“Energy efficiency in our homes and buildings helps Canadians save money, creates jobs, reduces pollution and contributes to our clean energy future,” said the Honourable Amarjeet Sohi, Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources. “I congratulate L’Image Home Products Inc. for their ongoing leadership in improving energy efficiency in Canada.”

In addition to this great achievement, L’Image Home Products was recognized at a ceremony in early April by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy with the U.S. ENERGY STAR Award for Partner of the Year.
